Receipt orders

Note: Buyers can usually receipt their own orders. People in your organisation may also have been given authority to receipt orders on behalf of others.

 

When orders have been delivered, you can record their arrival - and take action further if it's required.

 

It's simple to view the receipt status of orders.

 

When an order arrives, you can receipt the entire order as being correct.

 

Alternatively, if some items are missing you can mark the order as partially receipted. Then, when any outstanding items arrive, you can receipt the remainder of the order.

 

If some items are incorrect or damaged, you can return some or all of the order.

 

If more items arrive than you intended - and you want to keep them - then it's possible to accept more items than you ordered.

 

Finally, when an order has been receipted satisfactorily, you can close the order to complete the receipting process.
