Receipt the remainder of an order

Note: Only users granted specific authority by your organisation can receipt orders.

 

Sometimes a delivery may arrive with some items missing or damaged.

 

When this happens, you can mark the order is only being partially receipted.

 

But you need to receipt the remainder of the order when it finally arrives.

 

First, locate the order. Select Orders from the menu bar and then Receipting.

A list of orders is then displayed. The order we want is currently marked Partially Receipted.

View the order by clicking on its purchase order number. When the order opens, click on the Receipt Order button.

The order details are then displayed. You'll notice that one column shows the items that are outstanding.

If items are still missing than you can, once again, mark the order as partially receipted.

 
But if everything has now arrived, you can receipt the entire order as correct. Simply copy the number across to the Receipt column and click Update.

 

Note: If all the items on a line have been received, then you can select the Close tick-box at the end of the row. This lets you close this line in the order at the same time as receipting the order - making this a one-step process.
